I run two guitar classes at Worcester Arts Workshop on Sansome Street. All ages are welcome. The Beginners Guitar class suits total beginners or very rusty players. The Intermediate workshop suits people who can already play quite a bit but want some new direction. See below for more details on both courses.

Beginners Guitar - starts 12/01/12 - Thursdays
Complete dates for the Autumn Term are as follows:

Please note there is a week
off for half-term between the two blocks of five dates.
Thursdays 7-9 commencing 12th January,10 sessions in total (20hrs) - the cost for this course is £79 payable in advance or on the first evening.
This course will suit absolute beginners or very rusty players. The atmosphere is informal, relaxed and fun. By the end of the course participants will have experience of single note melodies, some basic chords, strumming, harmony playing and a little lead guitar playing. The material used to teach these spans many genres from folk to rock and also some material created by me.
The course is open to anyone who wants to give it a go and there is no age limit. Last term the youngest player was 10 years old and the oldest was, er, older than me.
The course lasts for ten weeks with a week off for half-term in the middle. It takes place between 7pm and 9pm at Worcester Arts Workshop, off Sansome Street in Worcester. The course cost is £79.00.

Intermediate Guitar - starts 11/01/12 - Wednesdays
Complete dates for the Autumn Term are as follows:
11/01/12 : 18/01/12 : 25/01/12

22/02/12 : 29/02/12 : 07/03/12 : 14/03/12 : 21/03/12
Please note 26/10/11 is half-term week so no lesson then.
Wednesday 7-9 commencing 11th January, 10 sessions in total (20hrs) - the cost for this course is £79 payable in advance or on the first evening.
This course will suit those who can already play a fair bit but want some new inspiration. People signing up for this course should already be able to comfortably play a full barre F chord and have some experience of the pentatonic scale.
The atmosphere is informal, relaxed and fun. Using cover versions we explore a variety of playing styles from heavy rock to country looking at rhythm and lead techniques.
The course is open to anyone who wants to give it a go and there is no age limit.
The course lasts for ten weeks with a week off for half-term in the middle. It takes place between 7pm and 9pm at Worcester Arts Workshop, off Sansome Street in Worcester. The course cost is £79.00.
