This course will suit individuals who have been playing for a while but need some new inspiration. Those wishing to sign up for this course should be able to easily play the F chord and do a little lead guitar.

The atmosphere is informal, relaxed and fun. By the end of the course participants will have experience of complex single note melodies, a wide range of chords, different strumming patterns, harmony playing and a variety of lead guitar techniques. The material used to teach these spans many genres from folk to rock and also some material created by me.

The course is open to anyone who wants to give it a go provided they meet the criterea above, and there is no age limit. Last term the youngest player was 10 years old and the oldest was, er, older than me.

The course usually lasts for ten weeks with a week off for half-term in the middle. It takes place between 7pm and 9pm at Worcester Arts Workshop, off Sansome Street in Worcester. The course cost is £69.00 (unless the term is shortened - then it's cheaper).
